Left-Face and Right-Face Chaises

A left arm facing chaise (LAF) extends to the left when you face the sofa, while a right arm facing chaise (RAF) extends to the right. Choose your orientation based on doorways, windows, and walkways—place the chaise where you have the most open floor space. For example, if you have a doorway on the right, a left-facing chaise creates better traffic flow. Both orientations are available across our collections.

Reversible Chaise Options

A reversible sofa chaise features a movable ottoman that attaches to either side, letting you reconfigure your layout whenever needed. This flexibility works well for renters, military families, or anyone who likes to refresh their space. Many customers choose reversible options when they're unsure which orientation works best—you can try both at home and decide what you prefer.

Choose from 250+ pet-friendly and performance fabrics that resist stains and fading, including microfiber, chenille, and performance linen blends. Some models feature removable covers, while leather wipes clean with a damp cloth. Fabric samples and protection plans are available in-store.

Size & Fit

Sofa chaises range from apartment-friendly 90-inch designs to 120+ inch options for larger rooms. Chaise sections typically measure 60–70 inches long, with compact sizes starting around 55 inches. Seat depths range from standard (20–22 inches) to deep seating (24–26 inches).

Plan for 30–36 inches of walkway space, 12–18 inches between sofa and coffee table, and a few inches from walls. Position the chaise near a window for reading light, or float your sectional away from walls for an open feel.
