Not just any recipe, but something sweet. Something simple. Something seasonal. You’re in luck, because this fall-fashion apple dessert only takes 40 minutes to make! In 4 easy steps, you’ll have party attendees (and yourself) coming back for seconds & thirds of this delicious Apple Tart Treat!

Ingredients:

- 1 package of pastry sheets (they should be thawed and cut into either halves or thirds)

- 3 apples with the core removed, halved, and cut into very thin slices

- 2/3 cup of brown sugar

- 1/4 teaspoon of salt

- Optional toppings: powdered sugar, caramel sauce, whipped cream, ice cream

Step 1:

Take out two baking pans and spray with a nonstick spray. Place your pastry sheets down approximately 1/2 inch apart.

Step 2:

In a bowl, add the apple slices, brown sugar, and salt. Stir thoroughly and let it sit for about 5 minutes.

Step 3:

Place the apple slices on the pastry sheets in a straight line, with each one overlapping as you lay them down. Bake in the oven at 400 degrees for 18-20 minutes, or until the pastry sheets are golden brown and puffy.

Step 4:

Take the pastries off the pan right away and place on a serving tray or platter. Add any of your favorite toppings and enjoy!
